The point is they moved up. Canelo moved up when he felt ready and his 2nd fight at MW was GGG. When MW was dog sht their was some GREAT fighters at 168. Can we say GGG ducked them??? We all know GGG ducked Ward. And seeing Canelo and Jacobs give GGG fits Ward would of gave him nightmares

Golovkin would not be favored to beat Ward at 168 there is no way around that. Did he duck Ward. I don't think so. Ward called him out not the other way around. Ward would not cut weight for Golovkin to make the fight happen. So the fight did not get made. Golovkin didn't want to fight a guy who would be favored at 168 and Ward did not want to fight a dangerous challenger at 164. It was mostly a war of words and free press.

If this was any other fighter the Canelo fanboys would be hammering them. But since it's their boy they give him a pass.

This is a classic case of avoiding GGG so he can age just a little bit more for the trilogy fight.

Yeah, they fought twice and the results were a draw and a MD.
That means neither guy dominated.
If one fighter dominated, you'd have a point.
But neither guy did, so what you say makes no sense.

Just like when GGG lost his IBF belt to fight Vanes and told the WBC to go *** themselves when they wanted him to fight Charlo for the #1 spot and another chance at Canelo.
