He abandoned the body attack since the first fight. He realize real quick that it’s a whole different ball game when your fighting elite competition. I doubt he’ll go back to that attack. He’s too concerned with getting countered. He rather be safe and box than fight

He neglected the body before ever facing Canelo. For whatever reason he started head hunting more these past few years despite how much success it gave him earlier in his career. He still threw body shots in the rematch so it's not like he was overly concerned. I wish he threw more than 11 but the ones he did throw landed very strong.

I'm actually fine with 7-5 either way or a draw. Golovkin let to many early rounds go but I think swept the last 4. He was landing some hard shots from the 8th round on that I think are being overlooked. Canelo put up a great fight, don't get me wrong. But to fight that good of a fight and still have the guy coming forward and actually seeming to get stronger plays on your mind a bit. All Golovkin has to do is throw more body shots and not give a **** what's coming back because he'll get countered anyway.

it happened in BOTH fights..... it also happened to Chavez when he fought Canelo..... and it also happened to Golovkin when he fought Jacobs

I've said for years that guys can't take a sustained body attack from Golovkin. If he threw the body shots he used to, I do think they would break Saul down.

1-what does anything you just said have to do with my last post? You didn’t answer *****t cause you know it’s true. 2- how did they loose money? 3- more people will tune in to see Nelo fight than they will to see Lovkin fight another bum. I think he is going to fight on that date in Vegas. That was the original plan. Like someone else said Ruiz is capable of taking that date from Canelo if he beats AJ again.

You're as thick as 2 short planks, still has the same amount of fights on his contract, doesn't get paid unless he fights, no fighter is bigger than the sport or has the ability to deny contracts, if he doesn't fight for the next 3 years he still has 9 fights before he's out of contract, no problem, look at Mikey Garcia as an example
