And trust other fighters are watching and more importantly subscribers are watching. You just launched in the US based around Canelo if Canelo leaves DAZN he takes almost their entire subscribers with him. No fighter worth a damn will sign with DAZN when they see what they doing. And if you Andrade right now and reports from Andrade own camp confirmed Golden boy was talking and making offers and if DAZN is the reason that fight didn't happen how you feeling about DAZN? or even Hearn who has a major confirm conflict of interest. And I brought this up months ago Andrade is signed to Matchroom but Hearn acts like he doesn't even want to get his guy that fight.

DAZN tried to force GGG fight now and don't care if GGG only wants to fight bums in the meantime because he is afraid anyone with a pulse beats him before Canelo whoops him again. That's the contract that has come back to haunt them GGG is totally worthless to DAZN doesn't drive any subscribers without Canelo. But that's not Canelo's problem lol And Canelo is the only reason so many are subscribing to DAZN right now good luck convincingly them to stay.
You nailed it! I was hoping that DAZN would pan out and put on good fights at a good price, but they will flame out if they don't fix this quickly developing mess. It might be difficult for some to understand, but as you point out, GGG does not have a huge fan base on his own. He is just another fighter without Canelo.

A Canelo vs Andrade match can easily be marketed. It might turn out that DAZN will lose both Andrade and Canelo and be left with Golovkin as their crown ***el. If that happens, The Perform Group, DANZ's master, might be tempted to part company with John Skipper as their Executive Chairman.

    • Kovalev should sue his promoter and management for incompetence. Against Canelo he would be the larger fighter, stronger fighter and harder hitting fighter. He would be paid more than he has ever made, much more than he made in the 2 Ward fights. So what does his promoter and team do? They turn down the offer of a once in a lifetime lottery winning ticket.

What a bunch of morons. BTW I am cancelling my DAZN today. Without a Canelo fight what is the point.

It’s insane that ggg fans think Smith and Fielding are in the same class as Vanes and Rolls were. I don’t give two sht about what Vanes USED to be. He was two years retired and 3-3 last 6 fights PLUS first time at MW.

Smith and Fielding are at least Top 10 guys who had belts. Someone remind me what belts Rolls and Vanes had???

when Golovkin ran off to Monaco to fight a total scrub, rather than face an ex-champ who had clearly faded in a showcase opportunity on HBO..... IT WAS CLEARLY OBVIOUS WHAT HE SHOULD HAVE DONE

when Golovkin stated that Lara was "irrelevant, and not a draw"..... but then quickly ran off to fight Willie Monroe..... IT WAS CLEARLY OBVIOUS WHAT HE SHOULD HAVE DONE

when Golovkin totally refused to negotiate on weight with a 153lb superstar, despite being more than happy to defend his title against a NO-HOPER at catchweight..... IT WAS CLEARLY OBVIOUS WHAT HE SHOULD HAVE DONE

when Golovkin desperately needed an opponent..... and BJS was walking around with his "dream", offering to fight Golovkin in June..... but G selected Vanes LMAO..... IT WAS CLEARLY OBVIOUS WHAT HE SHOULD HAVE DONE..... THAT WAS AN ABSOLUTE NO-BRAINER YOU MORONS

When Golovkin selected a shocking "comeback" opponent in Steve Rolls, despite insisting that he won the rematch LMAO..... and despite knowing that Canelo stated he will not offer Golovkin a trilogy unless G wins a title..... IT WAS CLEARLY OBVIOUS WHAT GOLOVKIN SHOULD HAVE DONE..... YOU HOPELESS EXCUSE-MAKING MORONS LMAO

you are LITERALLY blaming Canelo, because Slothkin is unwilling to face a threat

the fact that Golovkin has NEVER taken those kind of fights..... and the fact that Golovkin fans have never expected him to take those kind of fights..... leads me to conclusion that Golovkin is not confident that he can beat those guys, and neither are his fans

Golovkin fans are dog-shlt, they are toxic for this sport
DAZN is putting pressure on the wrong fighter. Triple Tune-Up is the one who needs to have his feet held to the fire in order to get him to fight top 160-168lbs fighters. DAZN should not depend on one super fight a year to sustain them. They need an in depth amount of quality fights throughout the year. And Triple Tune-Up has no interest in fighting anyone with a pulse.

if it fight happens at 175, no problem... but I still have no real interest tbh

I would much prefer that fight, and other 175 champs, AFTER Canelo leaves 160..... or at least AFTER he fights Smith

Canelo fighting at LHW still seems silly to me

Andrade > Charlo > Smith > Benavidez..... would be his best possible path

Benavidez is a monster..... not sure why people can't see that

I believe ggg waited canelo out to see where canelo signed when hbo left boxing. Ggg used canelo as leverage to get his deal. I believe ggg would of signed anywhere canelo would of. Canelo should dump DAZN and be a free agent. He should get rid of golden boy too. He doesn’t need a promoter anymore. Keep the full bag

Triple g doesn’t move the needle for DAZN. So they are doing the right thing by pressuring canelo but that can backfire on them

                    • I'm not seeing this as some kind of power play as some others do. The face of boxing, a Mexican, has been chased off the big Mexican weekend date, because he's not allowed to face a Jaime Munguia. It's not a good look.

I read the other day that Gallagher said Smith/Canelo could happen in December but not September. I wonder if DAZN/GBP might come to a meeting point and that one could be on the cards.
