I'm gonna be honest with my assessment. I believe the reason they're postponing the date is because Canelo and team want certain fighters but DAZN has openly said they only approved on GGG and Kovalev. Kovalev is tied up now and GGG is free. But guess what? Canelo doesn't want to give GGG the third fight for whatever reason. Canelo/Golden Boy and DAZN are in a stand off. There's some tension going on behind the scenes and as a fan of boxing I sure as heck hope DAZN doesn't cave under pressure. They need to flex their muscles and remind Canelo and team who's paying the contract money.

For Canelo not to fight in September is significant. We all know what the September date in boxing means. It's a big date for all fans in general especially the Mexican community. Canelo doesn't just miss the September date so you know something is up. Smh. I can envision Canelo and team trying to get their way so they're pouting and throwing fits. DAZN needs to stay strong and not budge. Get the trilogy with GGG going already.

The mistake DAzn is making is they want to limit Canelo to just fighting GGG and they didn’t even allow him to go for undisputed vs Andrade. So I’m sorry but this a lesson that will cost DAZN subscribers. More than half of us are only subbed for Canelo so I guarantee you it will cost DAzn money to try to micro manage Canelo

If DAZN really did turn down Andrade then that is a shame. He is boring as fu.k but the guy has skills and deserves the shot. I disagree with you about GGG. Does he deserve the fight right now? Maybe not but who else can Canelo fight that DAZN would approve? If he beats GGG again then he can shut up all the haters and move on to other fights without GGG hanging over his head!

I understand Canelo that you are scared of losing to a real boxer. So you need some time. Like most modern days boxers do. Cherry Picking less calibers boxers or paid judges off the major problem in boxing is Corruption. Be daring and fight like the late great Pernell Whitaker.

The funny thing is Canelo could probably outbox Andy Ruiz, in seriousness. But yes, Canelo should stop messing about, although his resume of opponents is excellent, he should fight Smith, Charlo, Andrade, and if he really has to, once more with GGG. As for light heavyweights, I think Bivol is trickier, although not as power punching, as Kovalev.
