Never heard of any fighter in any weight class being over hyped called a hype job in 22 fights after being unified champion, the thread doesn't have any logic to it.

Was AJ the WBF champion too or was it IBU? AJ easily had 7 belts at least

AJ was overhyped and tried to live off going life and death with 40 year old man coming from a loss and long layoff

That Klitschko fight took AJ heart I remember him saying he will retire if he has another one of those fights you could tell AJ is not built for this ****

He is a hypejob. Even after he beat Wlad, i thought the same. Joshua fought him at the right time when Wlad was old and vulnerable.

Ruiz will knock him out again and he will be forgotten.

Everyone has their come out fight which usually involves retiring an older fighter on his way out. The real thing is keeping up the momentum after the win and proving it wasn't a fluke. That's the part where AJ pretty much failed to do.

He looked awesome getting off the floor vs Wlad and giving as good as he took but now look where he's at. Time will tell. If he can beat Ruiz in the rematch, consider AJ back. If he doesn't, he's pretty much done for good in the top level of the heavy division.
