Honestly, Pacquiao could be en route to securing another Fighter of the Decade award by toppling Thurman. A win would only boost an already glorious legacy. He would also hold a major world title since it's basically a consolidation title fight between the regular and super WBA titles. With all this being said, does anyone think Floyd's ego would drive him to come back to try and ruin Pacquiao's latest run? Whether you like it or not, Pacquiao and Mayweather are still marketable names especially to the casual viewer. Their mainstream appeal with the storyline from their years of back and forth and their first fight would already be a strong enough build up. All this equates to Mayweather having the opportunity at another major payday (something that has always seemingly lured him back in to the ring) and his ego would probably try and get him to stop Pacquiao from outshining him. I've always thought that Money would come back for "money."

So obvious Floyd won't rematch Pac as he's not about legacy only unbeaten record. And as far as Floyd is concerned that's his legacy so why risk it?
