That’s all I’ve been saying. Floyd doesn’t want to fight anymore and I don’t blame him at 42 years old. Why take that risk if you don’t really need the money right now. Doesn’t make any sense, stay retired. I definitely would.

Yes the fight wasn't good and a "marathon huggathon" as you say, but there were 2 people in the ring. Everyone knew Floyd's style as an older slower fighter, but Manny/Roach didn't have a game plan to negate Floyd's style and capitalize. I know many don't like technical boxers and just want to see a hockey style fight, but that's not boxing!? Boxers don't just stand and trade like 2 drunk guys after the bars. I prefer skill like Roy Jones Jr, Loma, Mikey, Crawford, Usyk, Ray Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, JMM etc, but I still really enjoy a good KO a la Mike Tyson, Forman or even Wilder.

Not sure who expected that fight to be Hagler Hearns lol. Closest thing to Hagler Hearns we could have had was if Mikey and Loma had fought, but that ship has sailed. Maybe Crawford vs Spence or Canelo vs Andrade or Charlo (this is based on styles and will).
