Pac should leave the Floyd rematch if Floyd don't want it. Its Floyds best win, but not a great win anyway because Pac was not the Pac tearing through people and not far removed from ko loss to JMM so was gun shy.
But the win for Floyd is not a decider historically for being greater than Pac, the win was full of controversy which hurts Floyd more than Pac.
Pac should just continue to beat the likes of Thurman who Floyd ducked. That will increase the distance between Pac and Floyd even more.

IMO the Thurman win is a very good win and is great for Manny and the sport. Shows how great he is. Now if you get the slimy Manny fans that want to use this win to discredit Floyd, then give them the same as they give-don't give Manny any credit.

Thurman looked fine to me in the Pac fight so quit with the excuses. Nel o was green and it was a cw and not even that good back then he barely beat trout. He was untested and nobody knew who nel o was a year or so before floyd beat him.

Floyd fought with a cw, so you live by the sword you die by it. You can't expect the win to not be lessened. Floyd knew he'd be criticised but with Floyd its short term gain which is only what Floyd cares about, it helped him win but long term it's going to hurt you. Floyd mightve beat nel o without cw but we will never know now for sure but the thing is nel o wasn't prime then and has improved so much since anyway. So either way you can't make the win more than it was.

This is not really worth responding to but I give you one lesson. 1st the cw did not bother Canelo at all he and his trainer has said so then and now.It was 2pds to a guy who was only 22 in age although much older in experience(turned pro at 15). Also Canelo is a future HOFer and was fighting a 36yr old who he outweighed by 20+pds. Thurman has been inactive and coming off a REAL injury(you know the kind that "salt water and prayer" does not fix.Also would be willing to bet Thurman will NEVER beat another top 10 fighter(that's an opinion, but one I would bet on). Oh and by the way they fought and Floyd won 10-2 by most cards.
