He could have a monkey training him and still dominate a bum like Alvarez.

WOW! Didn't see that coming! Ronnie does have a big stable (Charlo, Ajagba, Rigo, Stanionis, etc.) so maybe Lara felt like he wasn't getting enough from him anymore? Lara should be able to beat Alvarez without anyone in the corner! Lara vs. Lubin! Make It Happen!

You need to be realistic. Lara has gone through wars or at least taking significant punches that have floored him. It's not necessarily the opponent but more the traditional training needed to stay TOP and ready to go. Salas imo is what molded Jessie Vargas into a unique Cuban style MExican American fighter.

Ronnie too busy with others. Sometimes these are the best things to do. Cotto under Roach imo would've performed worse fighting Floyd. That's one particular fight I credit Diaz's Cuban style really well.

Looks like he decided to go back to his roots. Might have also left him to pursue a fight w/ Charlo since Charlo also trains with Shields. He should get past Alvarez regardless of who's training him anyway.

I am being realistic. I just said that maybe Ronnie's stable is too big, and Lara needs more time? I still think Lara vs. Lubin is a great fight for both, ESPECIALLY IF THEY DO IT IN FLORIDA! Cuba vs. Haiti! Can't really go wrong in Florida! Old Lion vs. Young Lion! Lets Get It! MAN UP!

I just think Lara's legs simply aren't there anymore so he will continue being in these tough fights against pressure fighters.

But I'm a fan of Salas so let's see how this goes.

This card will be FS1 card and not a FOX card as originally reported?

why is this match even happening?? why Lara needs to fight the Charlo's and put them away.

Interesting...maybe he can fight Jermell now that he is not with Ronnie anymore

More Cuban trainers need to start defecting. Not just Cuban boxers.
