Like most sports “today” and over “recent years”, boxing is about making the most money and getting out with the least amount of damage. That is how most of these young athletes are really thinking right now. They aren’t built like the fighters from back in the day and the money was a lot lessor then. If I was a young and talented fighter today or over the past few years, who is better equipped to navigate their career other than Floyd and the team he had. His career was cleverly orchestrated from start to finish, he created a persona for himself that people either hated or liked but still paid to see him in fights, and he made the most money and took the least amount of damage.

And if I was a fighter today, I’m not really listening to the fans or people in the boxing media because it’s about going home to my family and being able to function as a normal human being later in my life without the damage of CTE and other physical things. So I think Floyd’s career was masterful. Sure most of us wish he would have fought other people or people much earlier in their prime, but it’s clear what his game plan was and the team advising him.

We live in a capitalistic society. How do we take advantage of all the money out here without getting seriously hurt. How can we manipulate the industry to our advantage for our families. That’s why I can’t really hate on the Conor or the Japan exhibition over seas choices. He made a lot of money at the end of his career in those fights and came out of them without any damage. I’m a hard core boxing fan but I see the collateral damage a career in boxing can have and the toll it puts on the brain and body looking at some of the past fighters.

Davis should listen carefully to Floyd and let him guide him now regardless of what happened or didn’t happen in the past between them. It seems right now they have a better understanding on what to do best for his career. I don’t think Floyd ever had anyone this talented in his stable. He wanted Stevenson coming out of the Olympics who Ward is managing but now has Davis. I think Shakur should have went with Floyd’s team too. How much did Ward make again in his highest revenue fight? Not even close.

Gervonta is a product of the social media/clout chasing generation. He also had the worst possible role model in "Money" Mayweather. If he knuckled down he could turn out to be one of the best fighters of his era, but seems he's more interested in buffoonery and posturing. His best win was Jose Pedraza, has done nothing since then and that was 2 and a half years ago.

The Farmer grudge match should have happened already. Then, he needs to fight Miguel Berchelt if he wants to be taken seriously when he runs his mouth. After that, there are a bunch of great matchups at Lightweight. Seems he's happy just wasting time and cherry-picking though. He's 25 this year, not a kid anymore. It's a shame how his career is going.

I'm cool with this fight, but I hope to see Tank fight Farmer or GRJ next! GRJ might as well make the jump because I haven't seen any traction on LSC vs. GRJ, which is unacceptable!

Salute to Chris Colbert! I see you fam! Hurry up and get this paper!

Lol, as I said before this fat lil clown is AB 2.0. Twitter gangster is really too scared of Loma and it is embarrassing how he does all that barking online and faces pure bums in actual fights.

Cong****! You have made the dumbest statement of the day so far. He's an adult, a kid is 17 and under. Lil man is an adult he just chooses to act like a kid, it doesn't make him one.
