going to go with Hearns/Duran because although Hatton was bigger, he couldn't lace Duran's gloves.

Easily Hearns-Duran. Roberto is an ATG and had a granite chin. Hearns, also an ATG, was an assassin with exceptional power. Hatton was stopped by Mayweather, not someone known for his power.

If you're talking rep, it has to be Hearn's KO of Duran.
Brutality wise, both shots were KO of the year stuff, where the guy is unconscious before he hits the canvas.
(AT 140 Pac was a force of nature!)

My favorite was Thomas Hearns' 2nd round knockout of Roberto Duran because it had never been done before. However, Ricky Hatton had already been exposed and knocked out previously by Money Floyd Mayweather. Moreover, Duran landed face first on the canvas which makes the knockout even more impressive.

Hearns for sure. Duran was never in the fight from the beginning. Pure domination by Tommy.

Pac did a good job against Hatton but Hatton isn’t Duran, and Hatton was pretty much done anyway. Never looked the same after the Floyd fight, i believe he had already started a spiral of drugs and drinking, got saved by the ref in the Lazcano fight etc.. I’m sure Pac would’ve whooped Hatton regardless, but it was still a Hatton that was done.

Hearns KO of Duran was more impressive because Duran was a much better fighter than Hatton with a much better chin. Pacquiao was also impressive with the speed and power of his KO punch in knocking out Hatton. The Hearns straight right that KOed Duran with was as fast and hard as any punch I can remember pound for pound.
