This is how I see him, Canelo is a good fighter, not the best and certainly not as good as his fanboys suggest. Canelo can't beat people convincingly if they have much punch resistance. His style is too explosive to not gas out and drop rounds.

He hasn't beat any top fighter convincingly period. He needs the roids to not gas out like he did against Trout. Had it not been for the knockdown, Trout may have had that one.

I know man, this is why I don't take fans who claim to have an utterly dominant and flawless champ seriously. He's a product that's been sold to them successfully. Some people just don't buy into marketing, natural cynicism if anything.

If not for the knockdown Trout SHOULD have had it. Did you see the scorecards? One of the worst Canelo cards I’ve seen.

One judge gave Canelo 118-109! Another gave him 116-111! It was open scoring too. Trout looked blown away when they told him he was down 8-0 after the 8th round.
