I found it interesting that Mikey and Robert Garcia disagreed and Gary Russell Jr. And Sr. disagreed. I also thought it was interesting that Shawn Porter and Josesito Lopez picked Pacquiao. I would have expected both to pick Thurman.

Three people picking a draw. Oh, the rematch possibilities....

I have Thurman in a UD. Have waffled enough on this fight. I will pick the guy who is fresher and younger and has knocked the ring rust off a two year lay-off. I would pick pretty much any other top 147 over Thurman, but Manny- who is wonder of science that he is still important at age 101- does not have the defensive DNA to outpoint Thurman, and does not have the pure power he used to have. Manny has always used his offense to keep other fighters at a distance he is comfortable when he wins. He gets hit when that strategy does not work. Thurman will score and is a good defensive fighter.

Thurman in a disappointing 12 round SD win that only has spurts of action.

Thurman called Pacquiao a bunny rabbit and a T-rex arm.

But come fight night he will running away from that bunny rabbit and that T-rex arm.

Because if he tries to slug it out Thurman is getting KOed.

I truly don’t think Manny looked that great against Broner. He ran in off balance throwing putty pat punches that Broner did not counter or make him pay. Thurman is a different monster. He is a real champion with pride. But he is very smart and has all the ability to actually dominate Manny. Manny will show flashes of his greatness, but at age 40 against a real in his prime champion, his weaknesses will get exposed. This fight will be parallel to Sugar Ray Leonard vs Terry Norris. The younger lion will just be too much for the old lion.

It amazes me that not a single person has discussed the dramatic difference in boxing IQ between Thurman and Pac. Thurman has such a high ring IQ added with the skill he does have, he will more than likely win this fight. As I always say, this is boxing, and anything can happen any given night - but the reality is that Pac is far more likely to lose this than to win, where as Thurman is far more likely to win, than to lose. I say Thurman wins, and wouldn't be surprised if Pac's corner stops the fight late.

Porter and Lopez are probably bitter Thurman squeezed out a win, especially Porter, who Thurman was making beg for rematch but still not giving him.
