Rivas is a terror but Whyte is an animal. Whyte will win by decision.

Seriously Rivas is a good (but still unproven as a pro) boxer. But why would anyone know who he is in the UK? He hasn't fought anyone yet. They barely even cover boxing in the serious newspapers in the UK. It's mainly because it's not seen as a sport (because boxers choose who they fight and it's all about money). They didn't even have Gorman/Dubois in the newspapers here. Joshua will get in the news. Khan gets in (still!). But they both got big in their Olympic days and stayed big. Audley Harrison was big news here for a while too for the same reason. Olympic boxing is seen as a proper sport (note how no one has an undefeated record in olympic boxing)

Whyte has a great chin. You can see that in the Joshua fight. Took a lot to put him down. He will stop Rivas in 10.
Whyte got dropped by Parker though, and almost got KO’d in the 12th.

Didn’t know you guys don’t cover anything but Khan and AJ though. That’s brutal. I’d check out some of his fights online though.

And Joyce beat Jennings, he didn’t get beat up though. Was a close fight. Far closer than the cards claimed (for some reason the announcer and judges were only judging output regardless of how many punches were blocked)

I’d take Rivas over Joyce though with neutral judges.

Parker isn't that soft punching. 20 KOs in 28 fights and he's fought top fighters - Joshua, Whyte, Ruiz, Takam. On the day any heavyweight can drop anybody. I don't think Whyte's chin is an issue. I think Whyte was also the only fighter to drop Parker - ever.

Definitely the general public don't know anything about boxing here. TBH though I wouldn't pay to watch Whyte against Rivas. I haven't paid to watch any fight in my life. I'm not going to start with that one

Jennings is very good fighter and was a good win for Rivas but I just see Whyte as too tough for him. In fact I genuinely don't see why Rivas would pick Whyte. Seems very risky. Whyte isn't an easy fight for anyone.

It would take a guy with a lot of savvy to stay with Joyce for 12 rnds who doesn't pack power per punch the only reason was hes been in with the Klitchkos and Ortiz's but Joyce defeats Jennings far easier next time if they fought again going past 8 rnds for the first time any boxer is going to slow down throwing so many shots vs a guy not throwing much.

Only a dope would have Rivas over Joyce the same Rivas losing to Jennings going into last rnd for some certainly me,who wasn't remotely fixated in that fight,he had to be with Joyce bc its a far bigger threat but the guy whos never faced a power puncher Rivas beats Joyce himself? Only in your world . lol

Rivas has about a 25% chance vs Whyte.

Parker knocked down Whyte due to fatigue in the 12th from the high punch counts you just cant understand this it goes over your head daily with simple stuff to figure out .

I have a about a dozen of his fights. He is short & compact HW with decent power but still to be determined once he steps up more. He had trouble getting a licence in the US for a few years following a couple detached retinas. Now he is cleared & his win over Jennings shot him up the rankings as Jennings was the IBF #2 & he is now ranked by all bodies. Most of the fights I have were against overmatched opposition but he beat a couple good journeymen before the Jennings fight. I think Whyte will win but only because I have not seen him fight a lot of quality opposition with different styles...
