Boxers are the worst at scoring fights. How many times have you seen them get their ass kicked and say they won in the post fight interview?

We should stop acting like boxers are infallible when it comes to judging. Just because they are professional boxers, doesn't mean their opinion is concrete. ****, I remember watching a video of a professional boxer saying Lemieux was going to win against Golovkin because he was the better boxer. The cameraman was like wtf? Nobody believed Lemieux was the better boxer but here we had a pro boxer saying that.

Canelo won via Majority Decision. Not a UD. If a boxing fan never saw the fight, they'd be miss informed. I would change that in the article.

I'm getting sick of all these GGG/Canelo threads were either side can't say they decisively won either fight.
Surely their has to be another to shut people up one way or the other.

2 title fights, 2 controversial decisions, in 24 rounds of boxing the difference comes down to 2 judges giving the 12th round of the 2nd fight to Alarez.
Imagine what Alvarez fans would be saying if those judges had given the 12th round to Golovkin.
We both know his fans would be screaming for a 3rd fight.
The fact is GGG vs Alvarez III is the most anticipated fight in boxing right now (except for Alvarez fans).

I have yet to see a ggg fan unbiased like I’ve seen some Canelo fans. He mean sht we got got ppl right here who gave ggg like 16+ rounds in both fights. And they claiming robbery some BS! Ive seen a TON of robberies and this doesn’t even pass the smell test.

I enjoy reading your posts and can definitely understand why you have such stances.
Lately it seems if your a GGG fan that your the worst scrap of crap in boxing especially from all the Canelo nut huggers.
I can't understand why they don't want a 3 fight especially if they all think he will destroy the G.

Thanks man...I really appreciate that...I don't necessarily think I am always right and can understand if on some things people view it differently than me...all I can say is I have no real personal biases when I am judging fights and fighters and just try to call it like I see it.

I usually think I have the things I post about on here analyzed more or less the right way...but sometimes someone can come in with some good points that makes me change my opinion a bit...I am always open to that...but yeah a lot of the comments from people who disagree are almost always very emotional and biased imo...thanks again though, I enjoy reading your posts..and you make some good points in your post there as usual.

Canelo fought well in both fights...and you could argue that relative to expectations that Canelo in both fights and Jacobs vs GGG did better than GGG...but as far as actually winning the fights, I mean didn't really see any of them as that close.

GGG literally outlanded him in 18 of 22 rounds ya know (2 ties)...I mean that doesn't necessarily mean he wins all of those rounds...but usually outlanding your opponent is a good indicator of winning the round...it definitely tells a lot of the story..to say he won each fight 8-4 is pretty much in line with what happened imo.

All I can say is if Canelo fought GGG's fight in those 2 fights...and vice versa...I would score both fights as wins for Nelo, 8-4...I honestly think most Canelo fans would score those fights 10-2 for Nelo if that were the case.

You're always have fans say dumb stuff. Alvarez fans claim Canelo destoyed Golovkin in the second fight.
My point was that the judges couldn't have had it closer without calling the second fight a draw. Two close fights like that call for a rematch.
Most fans are looking for a decisive victory in a third fight.
Alvarez can avoid a third fight, but there will always be questions about why.
