I watched Pac live during that era and as exciting an awesome as it was, that just made him "great", not legendary. When he went up to the WW and defied odds, such as beating the bigger guy over and over when so many picked against him, that's what made him Legendary.
Too many said he was too small for Oscar, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, Mosley. That fighting Hatton at 140lbs where he was a true LW would all be too much. He proved each of those predictions wrong. That's what makes someone extraordinary, when he defies the odds over and over and leaves you dumb founded consistently looking for excuses as to how he accomplished it.
