For getting Broner back into a big name fight to lose to that big name guy this seems like a not so great fight to make.

Won't be surprised if this one doesn't happen/become official because its probably too risky/juice not worth the squeeze fight for Boner.
The thing is, which type of fight would be good for Broner at this stage? Are we now talking Victor Ortiz level or something? Lol, if he can't beat Redkach then he needs to call it a career straight up.

Should be a fun fight either way. Redkach doesn't give AF and will come to knock Broner's head off.

Even if Broner wins, where does he go from there at 147? I suppose a Khan vs Broner fight would be interesting. Or maybe Brook in the U.K.? Outside of that, I don’t see who he can make a competitive big money fight with.

He does good good against these types of opponents. It's those that have some height to them and can jab with Broner that will give him some serious problems. And then those just flat out better than him of course with the likes of Mikey and Pacman.
Idk man. Broner don't even like to punch mfers no more lol. Dude is running around the ring like a gerbil stuck in a cage & throwing punches from too far away half the time. I got zero faith in Broner. I legit don't think he cares & he's not realllllllly trying in there anymore, he's certainly not working on anything that I can tell.

            Devon Alexander.

Those two are both f#ckups. I would be curious what would happen between the guy who don't throw punches vs the guy who's waiting to get hit by a punch so he can quit.

Like I said I think he's called it a career already more or less. He's just here for the money. Win or lose this fight, if it happens, he's not retiring. He'll be back for his 1M per fight deal or w/e he's making these days. Broner ain't making $2M a year for 72 minutes or less worth of work anywhere else except boxing. He's not calling it a career & we still aren't THAT close to people not paying attention to him for him to be not worth what he's worth per fight..

Agree. Broner isn't gonna like this one. And I still contend there is a solid chance this fight never gets made cuz Redkach is TOO LIVE of an opponent to get Broner back in the win column.

Broner just isn't THAT good. He's at a certain level and that's why this fight is acceptable. But remember, just a fight ago against Vargas, he finished very well and drew with a solid fighter. Vargas isn't at the top of the WW list, but still solid nonetheless and Broner had a decent performance against him.

LIS, if he can't beat Redkach then he needs to hang them up. And you are right though, if Broner doesn't bring it then Redkach is that crazy MF'er that will take him out.

I feel like Broner gots a Ricardo Mayorga type villain vibe these days where you could B side him vs virtually any name guy after an L & it'd be a worthwhile fight to get the name guy back in the win column & get Broner his payday. Like whoever loses between Garcia vs Garcia would be a good fight for Broner & for the Garcia who lost to get back into winning.

I was on Broner at one point, but imo he just don't give a f#ck anymore. He gots no other way to make a million or so a year besides boxing so boxing it is.

This is for sure a loseable fight for him these days. Pre-Marcos this would be a w/e-ish fight I feel like. In 2019 not so much. This feels 50/50ish to me if not 55/45, 60/40 Redkach.
Ha ha, no not really. Broner's solid enough but I'd struggle to put him in a WW top ten... thing is I don't think Redkach is even at that level, although watching the Alexander fight I'm maybe revising my estimate upwards a little. Still think it's more like a 65/35 sorta fight in favour of Broner though.

That said - worth a watch and definitely not without intrigue - I'd much rather see this than some dude who's just in there to help Broner get some shine back.

But again who's paying him $1M per 36 minutes a couple times a year? This mfer ain't retiring if Redkach KO's him in the 1st round. He's half assing it as is.

He just turned 29. We got 6 to 9 years of Broner. Unless he wins his state lottery or some sh^t. Broner gonna be like 38-9-1 to 40-12-2 when he retires in his mid 30's. He's got several L's to come before he goes.
