No he won't. Rigeondeaux is old and was losing to Ceja before he knocked him out. Vargas has a tremendous chin and throws great combinations. Not saying that Rigo wouldn't win but smashing him is unlikely.

He was fighting cejas fight. I can say that Rigondeaux will land his share of right hooks and straight lefts. You dont have to hit someone on the chin to knock him out. The Cuban is a lethal body puncher, specially when he throws the straight left hand to the liver. But they still have to fight.

Fight started out ok then fell asleep

Vargas was a disappointment.
My Dad, Sister, and I walked out of the fight. Kameda was completely at a disadvantage and was a minimal threat to Vargas and Vargas *****ed out like a punk. Kameda tried to make it a fight and Vargas made it a boring track meet. Vargas blew it big. A big disappointment. Vargas the so called champion ran and made it an awkward unpleasant fight. It was hard to watch. Such a bad performance on his part

Wow! Vargas boxes beautifully, he did good and fight was entertaining, not everything has to be a Margarito type of fight, Vargas threw almost 900 punches how is that boring?

He mixed up to the body and head but I guess that’s your opinion gotta respect it, but definitely do not agree at all.

vargas has always had one of the most boring styles
way to much clinching, smothering.. it's tough for any opponent to get inside and fight this guy

& you know there's something strange, when a predominant mexican crowd boos at their fellow mexican at the end

I saw Tomoki initiating most of the clinching (85%) Vargas was the only one trying to get out of the clinch unlike Kameda.
