  • Pretty fun fight. 115-112 joyce, bullshyt point deduction. If jennings would have simply been more active, he could have won this. Joyce doesnt impress me overall. Other than his good workrate, hes incredibly slow n has very poor defense. Anybody in the top 10 makes easy work of him.

115-112 is reasonable. The others are giving Joyce every single close round.
And to get the fight closer you've got to give close rounds to Jennings.

Joyce's output will win rounds. It's not a shock.

Cards not far off right. Jennings never really did enough to win rounds. Nothing new about Joyce though - he'll lose to the first decent fighter he faces.

He should fight Gorman. Gorman's hand speed and punch variety would be a bad matchup for Joyce.

            • I don’t have a big problem with the cards. The rounds were competitive.... while Joyce was unimpressive, but I thought he edged them and you’d expect the home fighter to get rounds when they’re that close.

              • LOL at t-rex arms on here pretending he knows about boxing. I would take him to school with an overhand right knocking aside his piss poor jab, slapping the taste out his mouth.

                • Disappointed with Joyce's performance overall, but showed some flashes of sharp output. Seems lacking in power, though, a big problem for someone as immobile as Joyce is

Good call. As for Jennings, how does he expect to win a fight by spending most of the time on the ropes trying to block punches and not firing back ? Joyce will get trounced the first time he fights someone who can throw a straight right with power. Jennings has no killer instinct and proved to be the perfect name opponent for Joyce.

I thought Jennings landed the cleaner affective punches so he won a lot of those rounds

Don't have a problem with the results but two of the cards were ridiculously too wide
