I think you can make that point for most mma fighters
They would have to be real fughin dumb to try boxing when they can take someone down and have them submit
Same as a boxer would do , imo , box them and try to avoid the takedown

I love and respect too much fighting sports to make such farces.

All I mean is call out a mma girl at least your size, or bigger, so there is a match.

I respect combat sports of all disciplines myself, but respect don't pay the bills. I couldn't begrudge Shields for doing some novelty thing that paid better.

I mean thats why Heather Hardy went to MMA already. She said she made more money for her 1st MMA fight then she'd made for any boxing match in her 20 something fight career that included title fights (she talked about this at some length on Carl Frampton's podcast TKO in the last month or so for anyone who wants to here her discuss the issues with boxing & womens boxing specifically).

I suspect that BKFC guy will offer her a deal at some point too now that I think about it.

The one good thing Shields gots going for her is she's young & she can be hopeful about the big fight happening sooner or later, but I just don't see it in the near future & knowing female boxing I don't suspect its coming either so as she ages I think she's entertain the idea of novelty fights more than she might in the near future.

Clarissa would put Nunes to sleep even though Clarissa doesn't knock people out? Nunes is the puncher here who sleeps opponents, not you. But it's not surprising to hear as Americans always say the complete opposite of truth and reality. In a stand up fight, Nunes causes Clarissa serious pain before knocking her out.

And the only person calling you the greatest of all time Clarissa is you. So that doesn't count.
