people called the first fight a robbery [it was close] so they gave the benefit of the doubt to golovkin in the second fight to save face.

golovkin took a beating in the second fight. if he didn't have one of the best chins i have ever seen he would have gone down or gotten stopped. i might put money on a stoppage depending on how the fighters look in camp. hedge my bet with canelo on points. no way golovkin wins this time. he's been figured out in terms of timing on the counters, he's losing the jabbing contest, and he's getting older every month.

eventually golovkin's going to eat a punch on the forehead that he used to chomp down like M&m's and it's going to put him down.

There was nothing clear about the second fight. If anything, Golovkin clearly won the first fight.

It deserves a trilogy fight to just end the rivalry. It should be 1-1 at worse.

No he's not lying. Canelo isn't as good a boxer as Golovkin. He's younger, throws good combinations etc but his ring IQ isn't as developed as Golovkin's.

Naw Golovkin is the better boxer. It showed dramatically in the first fight when Canelo went to the ropes over and over and sometimes for no apparent reason. He was losing on the ropes because Golovkin didn't give him much in the way of countering opportunities. All he had to do was lay back use his jab and power punches to win rounds. It was a pointless move on Canelo's part. He was trying to pull a Floyd except Floyd is much craftier and can improvise in the ring if a strategy isn't working. Thing was Canelo was doing better OFF THE ROPES. All the time that he was retreating he wasn't punching. Golovkin won that fight by four rounds.

I thought triple G won both fights. They were close fights especially the second one. Wasn't upset that Canelo won and would not call it a robbery but I scored them both for G.

It wasn't that bad of a beating. He was at no point close to getting stopped, even if he didn't have the chin he did.

I don't think he will win this one. But, he did beat Canelo in the first one and for robbed, and the 2nd was close, so a 3rd is appropriate. This is a Marquez/Pac thing.

What's funny is how 90% of people thought GG won the first but now that GG is seen as a loser, they have sided with Canelo. Sports fans are predictable.

WTF are YOU on?!?! Nelo out boxed him in the 1st fight then beat the "Mexican Style" out of him in the 2nd fight. The ONLY thing that is left is a K.O. from Nelo!
