Yep good points...a lot of stuff to think about...and some interesting fights coming up hopefully...with Brant clearly taking the first one...and Murata doing the same here...I have 0 issue with a 3rd fight.

I agree GGG-Murata in Japan would be pretty cool...and we know Murata would come to fight there...no way he lays down in front of his people in Japan...GGG actually has some good options right now lol...some fights more make-able than others...but Murata, Charlo, Andrade, Dervy, Canelo all possible?

Pretty cool...Smith at 168 would probably be my favorite non-Canelo fight for Mr G...but yeah Murata's win really shakes things up and makes him a player here again...good for him and very impressive win...couldn't imagine a better performance from him...I'm very impressed with his gameplan/execution here

I welcome any and all of those...aside from Canelo 3 I have no doubt Andrade would definitely be Golovkin's stiffest test of those and potentially even disastrous considering the stylistic nightmare he represents, but that's what also makes it the most intriguing fight for G at 160 outside of Canelo for me. Canelo-Smith at 168 is what gets all the buzz but I would be game for GGG-Smith too. Also GGG-Saunders at 168 (or 160), same deal as Andrade...but I won't hold my breath. Honestly, it's the same three guys--Andrade, Smith, Saunders--I want to see both Canelo and GGG face off with most outside of each other right now.

However, I wonder if Murata would be keen to go back to America again after last time went so badly. They could probably do GGG-Murata at Tokyo Dome, but I dont think DAZN would be interested due to the time difference.

Both good points. I see the DAZN sceduling conflict as the bigger hurdle there. Murata's reluctance could probably be easily cured with a career high payday.

I reckon we get GGG-Derev for the vacant IBF, Canelo-Smith or Canelo-whoever really, Murata might have to mix it up with the likes of an Andrade or Charlo first and he could beat either. Problem is they wouldn't want it perhaps. Szeremeta or Martin Murray are good options, maybe he could make his next fight one to "unify" with the IBO. It'd leave him in high standings seeing as MW is so competitive.

Between IBF's seeming commitment to picking up the other big 3's slack on mandatory enforcement and the extreme likelihood of Canelo/DLH telling IBF to kick rocks, GGG-Derev seems more likely by the minute. Charlo is a great fight and definitely a win Murata can pull off, but Andrade is dicey. I could definitely see that going the way of Sulecki. Then again, after all this time do we still even know what Andrade's chin is made of? If Murata catches him clean...
