Dont get me wrong I like keith thurman but...I think part of his "injuries" was an excuse to duck other fighters and letting them take each other out. Just like they do in the UFC.

Not really. Out injured for 2 years and only like a month or two before that did Spence rise to the level of where it would make sense to fight him.
