    What happened to Taishan Dong?

Anyone remember this guy? 7 foot Chinese heavyweight. Last fight was in 2015. Trained by Buddy McGirt and promoted by GB.

Always good for a bit of schoolyard humour was the Giant Dong, but not much of a fighter.

Per wiki he tried out for WWE last year, lasted 6 months and then left without any fights - or whatever it is you call what they do over at WWE.

He was a talentless oaf and when the shakeup at GBP happened (Schaefer leaving, Haymon taking all the fighters) I think all parties involved pulled the plug on the experiment of trying to turn him into a decent boxer.

Last I heard he was trying out pro wrasslin.

Assuming we've seen the last of him in the ring. He didn't seem to like it in the fights I seen of his.

For sure - still, he could try the movies. There's gotta be an opening for a James Bond villain or some Triad killer badass in Undisputed XXVII or whereever the feck they're up to now.

                  Hong Man Choi 2.0?

He'd probably be big in Japan.

Found a video on Youtube about an year old. Turns out he told Golden Boy that he wasn't cleared to fight yet by a doctor and pretty much never contacted Golden Boy ever again.
