Watch and see what happens. If DAZN and Ruiz insist, they will be accomodated. Right after AJ lost Hearn stated that he would need to do some work to TRY and get the rematch located in the UK. He acknowledged that it wasn't a done deal (which it would have been had that been stipulated in the contract).Comment

So call some shots Ruiz? Tell us where you want it, when you want it and how much you expect to get paid and we will see if you get any of it. Typical PBC fighter making claims like that then going nowhere with it. Just like Wilder and Finkel and Haymon talking about how much more money an AJ Wilder fight could make on Showtime than they were offered from DAZN but then never went anywhere with it, just walked off and made some in house fights.Comment

exactly. DAZN gets an american HW champion of the world and they let him fight in england at 6 oclock EST on a saturday when nobody is watching TV?
this fight will head to las vegas and be bigger in the US than the first fight by a country mile. it will not be bigger in the UK, joshua's going to have a hell of a lot less appeal to casual fans who put way too much into the "0" and are more fans of fighters than they are of good fights.
while i wojldn't call ruiz the "A side" just yet, he's got plenty of other options now and does not need to take this fight in the UK where you know damn well they will stack the deck in any way they can.
That being said, in my opinion, Joshua has to fight Andy in America to fully redeem himself. I think he knows it too. Let's hope Hearn won't get in the way.Comment

Of course the fight would be bigger in UK. I don't think you guys understand how big Joshua is in his country. Think USA's biggest star like LeBron or Brady and multiple it by 10. Joshua is a massive star in UK.
