I've been saying since the fight, where and when was never in the contract per the rematch, only that AJ would get one that he could agree to. They have to meet Andy 1/2 way on where and when. Besides, DAZN wants it in the US .... their goal all along was using AJ to build their US subscriptions. It's bigger than AJ or hearn. DAZN committed to 'nelo, GGG, Andrade, and others along with a deal with AJ .... to raise DAZN's profile here (US). The rematch occuring in UK helps none of that, thus DAZN has been letting it be known all along they want the rematch in the US.

Thus, no UK ref hanky-panky in the rematch either. Sorry kids.

This is false. Ruiz can't stop a U.K fight if they wanted it there. Its up to AJ not Dazn or Hearn. Joshua is contractually obligated to sky sports not Dazn ,he doesn't have to fight on Dazn in the U.S . He has signed for certain amount of fights but he doesn't have to do all of them.

Joshua is gonna give some payback come the rematch.......Ruiz is acting like he knows he got a lucky break and his doing his bet not to honour a signed rematch contract clause stating when and where this fight takes place.
That tells me Ruiz is not to confident with the rematch....we will see

It never stated when and where, only "immediate" - meaning before any other fights (contests). They still have to agree to where and when. Both sides have to agree.

hearn never dreamed he'd be actually using the remtach clause. AND hearn was sure he could dictate the details based on paying Ruiz (or Miller) more money to get his way ala the Charles Martin fight.

One place this rematch was never going to be was the UK, and I've been saying this since after the first fight when Ruiz won. DAZN wants to rebuild long dormant interest in the heavyweight division in the U.S. They are not going to kill momentum that has started in that direction by this fight not happening in the U.S. And they are further building towards other big championship fights involving AJ, Ruiz, Wilder, Fury... all in the U.S. and probably some in the Daddy of all locations ...Vegas.

Dazn wouldn't care if it took place in the U.K if Joshua best chance is to win. Its there number 2 guy next to Canelo .Having a U.S champion doesn't really do them any good if they relie on Joshua right now . Dazn is actually a U.K company so not sure why most don't understand that and they would profit on Joshua much more globally. AJ says a N.Y rematch is in order anyway and its not Ruiz choice where it is ,he can only negotiate where he would want it but really ,hes not in charge .come'on. Ha .
