  • Comments Thread For: Andy Ruiz on Joshua Rematch: I Call The Shots, We're The A-Side!

IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz says he's already training for the rematch with Anthony Joshua ... and told TMZ Sports that he's calling the shots this time around. Last month at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Ruiz was a late replacement who stepped in for Jarrell Miller when "Big Baby" failed three separate drug tests -- with Andy only getting around 6 weeks of training before the June 1 fight.

Careful what you say, Ruiz cuz apparently claiming to be the A-side is an unforgettable sin here among the PC Patrol/warriors, they may start hating you too.

He's not the A side and he will be told where and when. He don't have to do anything but unless he does what he is told he will be dropping them belts.

Beat AJ the 2nd time and then the world is his oyster. But until then he is in control of **** all.

If the location of the rematch is not contractually stipulated or who decides it, Hearn just F' up big time. I am just speculating here cos I have no knowledge of the actual contract obligations.

If this is true, Hearn is a bigger scumbag than I initially thought.

Then again, this fat fu.kk would say anything for attention until he gets sparked out in Dec. This is what happens you have a shi.tty promoter who lives vicariously through his boxer rather than focus on doing his job.

Where the fight takes place would determine that. The announcement is coming after the Dillian Whyte fight.

And if he gets more than a fixed fee, then Hearn is knob.

One place this rematch was never going to be was the UK, and I've been saying this since after the first fight when Ruiz won. DAZN wants to rebuild long dormant interest in the heavyweight division in the U.S. They are not going to kill momentum that has started in that direction by this fight not happening in the U.S. And they are further building towards other big championship fights involving AJ, Ruiz, Wilder, Fury... all in the U.S. and probably some in the Daddy of all locations ...Vegas.
