Interesting view...Why would they do that? To "marinate" fights? Say what you will about UFC - they have lots of problems, but best not fighting the best isn't one of them. Maybe boxing would benefit a bit from some "pull your sht together and fight the best" directions from somebody who pays your bills. Besides, don't promoters dictate (or "influence"? ) who their fighters should fight?

I completely agree that the best fighting the best is what needs to happen, but i don't agree with how you made the point. If DAZN represents what you said, we would not have been submitted to GGG vs Rolls. DAZN had another belt holder under their banner.. UFC went from best fighting the best to what Dana now says..who puts butts in seats, who sells aka who's most popular. Like Ben Arsken and that train got derailed in spectacular fashion. The guy that smoked Ben was pissed that Ben was being fast tracked for a titles shot and only because he was popular on social media due to his trash talk and not his skill. Then the pre-fight trash talk made Jorge want to go medieval on Ben.

Anyways, yes we need Canelo vs Charlo and GGG vs Andrade and the winners face each other for undisputed middleweight supremacy.
Kovalev would face Bivol and Beterbiev, Gvozdyk and the winner would be the top light heavyweight. Spence vs Crawford against the winner of Manny vs Keith and the list goes on..
