In what world do you think Canelo will give concessions to Bivol? Bivol only rehydrates to 181 or something normally. 180 is easy for him. It's Canelo that would probably rehydrate to at least 185 if not 190.

A light heavyweight at 190 is a lot different than a middleweight or super middleweight at 190. The weight would benefit Bivol and not Canelo. The idea is to make Bivol work for it and drain as much as possible. Bivol is 6' 0", while Canelo is 5' 8". When you are moving up you want the bigger guy to be as uncomfortable as possible. A fight at 190 between the two would be disaster for Canelo!

Yeah, Bivol is smaller than 168 champs Callum Smith and David Benivide as well as Canelo’s last opponent at 168 (Fielding) Only reason Bivol fights at 175 is because it’s a glamor division/more money. He mentioned moving down to 168 when he signed with DAZN for more fights (said he’d fight at 168 and 175) Was before Canelo even moved up to fight Fielding.
