These numbers are much higher than I was expecting given the fact that Boxing is a niche level sport now. I would be interested to know how many subscribers they have are due to Boxing.

ESPN+ has more subscribers because they launched earlier but the gap is shrinking fast and DAZN costs more so their revenue off subscribers is more.

      Monthly Revenue
      1.2M x 10 = 12M
      2M x 5 = 10M
espn+ has almost 4 mil subscribers which makes sense because they have boxing ufc and several other sports and is way cheaper.

Thats at least $118M/yr if correct. How many companies in the history of the world had 118M or better in revenue their first year? Idk, but I'd guess its below 1%.

Granted they are paying out more than $118M/yr so I get why no one should be having a parade about this info, but thats the play here & its certainly not time to start painting "going outta business everything must go" signs.

You can't mom & pop store you're way into becoming the ESPN of streaming by making yourself profitable in a year or less. You gotta go big & hard or gtfo. Idk why so many people are acting like its weird DAZN's balance sheet don't make sense yet. You should go look at Amazon's balance sheets in their first years of operation. Go look at Uber's balance sheet today. AirBnB didn't make money til 8 years in.

This is a growth strategy not a get into profit strategy. And yes its a risky strategy, but look at some of the biggest companies people talk about & use daily that are around right now before you ask me if the juice is worth the squeeze.

How is it cherry picking? You can't subscribe just for FS1 you have to either have a cable package or sign up for a streaming channel package like DirectTV Now which starts at 50 bucks a month for the cheapest package with FS1.

You talking cherry picking just like you said they doubled the price for DAZN for customers. But the truth is if you were a existing customer they gave you 2 options 1 lowered you cost per month and the other allowed your monthly price stay the same as you are grandfathered in until March of 2020. If you are a new customer you actually save money because the yearly cost went down. You say nobody is paying 50 bucks just for FS1 just like NOBODY is paying 20 bucks every month for DAZN when you can pay 100 bucks for the ENTIRE year (8 bucks a month). If you are a regular DAZN customer you are paying 10 bucks or 8 bucks a month. That's why you don't hear any actual subscribers complaining about the price because if you are a boxing fan they actually lowered the price for you and added a 1 time 20 buck price if you just want to test it out or just want to watch for 1 random month.

remind this poster how much you pay a month for ''premium'' cable service alone with a package, plus any additional expenses for side apps. Then multiply that by 12 and inform BufordTannen an approximation of American consumerism for sports entertainment.

Bigdunny1, myself, and you included have given examples and variables of what many American homeowners are WILLING to pay.

Bigjavi973 has also stated months before, in my threads, the amount of PPV's combined a year, assuming those PURIST boxing fans would buy them all in comparison for what you get with DAZN. That's just ''DAZN vs PPV'' not general premium packages.

We've got dummies saying, you don't get movies with DAZN as you would with Showtime and HBO etc.. blah blah with these dumb posters not realizing their failed attempts to discredit DAZN while they're justifying HUGE expenses... lol... in other words, people are wiling to pay high premiums for everything else, but not DAZN.

And now you don't even get their best fights because if it's a good fight they charging you 80 bucks PPV on top of that.
I was just coming to ask where the f#ck you came up with $50/mo for FS1.

I mean I get the way you are explaining it, but the real cost would be FS1's cut of that $50 not the full $50. Or you might as well count the cost of basic cable with Showtime & PPV to cuz idk that you can just have Showtime without no other basic cable channels or just have PPV on your TV, but idk that for a fact just assuming.

yup unless you can show me another way to subscribe to FS1? If you a boxing fan you spending a lot of money to watch PBC boxing. You spending a fraction less for DAZN. And laughing because the same idiots saying well Showtime charges you 15 bucks a month but you not really paying just for boxing and they mention all these movies and shows boxing fans couldn't give 2 phuks about. the same argument they dismissed when HBO was in the boxing business. Hell you can say the same thing with DAZN well you not just paying for boxing you paying for Bellator, baseball, soccer etc other sports and content DAZN has in the US and in other countries. But these PBC shills never mention that hell you can't even get these clowns to accurately mention the pricing. They still throw around 20 bucks even though almost nobody who has DAZN is paying 20 bucks. What boxing fan keeps paying 20 bucks when you can get it for the entire year for 100 (8 bucks a month)? The answer is nobody.
