I skipped Charlo/Adams. Watched the DAZN card that night instead. I forgot PBC is giving their ****tiest cards to showtime. I do think Kownacki/Arreola is going to be a fun tilt though.

And my argument with the PPV model is always that I’ll pay if I feel it’s worth it. The Thurman card will be the first one I’ve paid for this year, and that’s because the card is absolutely stacked with six fights that I’m interested in.

That being said, I’ve been paying for DAZN regardless of if I watch it some months or don’t.

I'm just COMPARING THE US subscribers and revenue dummy. If you compare globally it's a blow out and ESPN is not in the ball park with DAZN. 1.2M in the US in less then 10 months is huge success. ESPN bigger brand, launches way earlier and is only at 2M in the US. And ESPN+ is the only comp you can find because nobody else is doing what DAZN is doing.

You’re arguing with me like I’ve been saying ESPN+ has been a success. I haven’t said that once.

None of that has happened, and the people who make 7 DAZN threads every day are doing nothing but talking about ESPN+ sucking and GGG not deserving a Canelo fight.
Not sure which fight you are referring to with the 300k PPV buys. Depends on whose number it was. Generally, 300k should be considered a success for everyone other than Mayweather, Pacquiao, Canelo and Joshua (in the UK).

People have different opinions, but 1.2 million subs at this point should be counted as a success.
DAZN launched less than a year ago and had a catastrophic start, because Hearn failed to sign known US fighters.

But if people cant see that the quality of cards and that the rooster of fighters have improved dramatically in the last couple months, then I dont know if that person is really objective.

From my perspective, DAZN is worth the money since april.

So then if DAZN's only competition that has the same sports streaming subscription pay model doesn't count then what the phuk we going to use as success or failure TO WHAT DAZN is doing? Oh I get it it's failing because you say so and nothing else to back it up? LMAO

Total $1100 and counting for 1 year to watch PBC

DAZN 100 bucks for the entire year no additional costs world class fights every week. But idiot PBC groupies arguing against DAZN because they want to be forced to pay 10X that LMAO
No FS1 up here, but $50 a month? That a typo?

Agreed 100% it’s been so much better quality wise since even March. It was a very slow start though that left a bad taste in all or our mouths, then when it finally starts to get good, they double the price.

When did that happen? Do you mean when they dropped the price to 100 for the year? Is that when you mean they doubled the price?

It takes time to build awareness and brand. Not just going to start an app and immediately have 20 mill paying for a sport they weren't paying for before. I like the service and have had it continually since it started. Showtime I pickup depending on schedule then cancel when it sucks, and then re subscribe when a good fight is on.

The only thing I don't like if they get NFL is they will start focusing on it. I like DAZN because their main focus is boxing. Feels like it was made for boxing fans. Boxing is like Showtimes 50th priority

Basic cable bundle package in the US avg about 50 bucks a month. You need a channel bundle package to get FS1. Fact PBC costs you exponential more per month per year then DAZN. And now you don't even get their best fights because if it's a good fight they charging you 80 bucks PPV on top of that.
