Ward would never agree to it. He won't bite that bait. He refused to do so even against GGG. However, if Canelo is serous, then he is more than welcome to move up to 175 and take that asswhooping from Andre Ward. He would be more than happy to oblige Alvarez while taking that easy money from DAZN in the process.

A win like this on Canelo’s resume would be better than a Kovalev win.

Ward said Canelo was the smaller man against GGG. The guy knows his boxing, so at least he’d be honest with Canelo.

Every thread you start these days is a chop on GGG and his fans and more worshiping of his royal highness Canelo. As far as big dogs go one dog wants to fight and the other dog does not want to fight so who is the big dog? Quit pushing that BS that Canelo is smaller than GGG. He is shorter than GGG and he was lighter than GGG a few years ago but not now. He is very muscular. He weighed the same 170-173 pounds as GGG on fight night when they fought. Canelo weighed in at 167 pounds for Fielding looking hard and lean. Canelo is a full sized middleweight now. He is short but stocky. I hate title fights fought at a catchweight but Ward is not a champion so a fight between Ward and Canelo would not be a title fight. So I would have no problem with them fighting at a catchweight of 172. I think Ward is overrated by many and if he comes back he will be older and rusty and not as good as he used to be. I think Canelo easily beats him and possibly stops him.I think the fight would be an ugly fight with Ward doing his usual holding. It would be in Vegas so the ref would not let Ward get away with too much dirty stuff and holding and hitting, i think Canelo could get in close and tear Ward up with fast hard combos to the head and body. Canelo is the better close range fighter and he doesn't need to hold the opponent to land his punches. Ward is comfortably retired and is never coming back. A much better fight that could be made right now without a catchweight is Canelo vs Callum Smith. But I doubt we will ever see that fight because I think it's a fight Canelo would lose.

Before you say it not big GGG fan but again I see Canelo made his late night rounds like the tooth fairy and instead of leaving a quarter he left that salty taste in many mouths this morning.
