Nowadays, star power equates to skills and box office potential.

Jacobs vs Arias didn't even register in most fans' radar screen.

Thurman can rematch Bundu or Karass and you'll still see a huge difference, as compared to Jacobs.

I probably can consider Jacobs as Thurman-level
even though he didn't always win his fights.
Bottom line is he's been in competitive fights.

I think Thurman has replaced Maidana or Khan who I believed have been in that category. Broner can also be in it even with loses.
