It's impossible for a mandatory to be promised to get the winner of a fight. It isn't illegal to vacate the title, no deal could force you to fight a mandatory (unless you want to keep the belt). The most likely scenario is that if Canelo beats Kovalev he vacates the title and Yarde fights the next highest ranked fighter.

In professional boxing, the light heavyweight division is above 168 pounds (76 kg) and up to 175 pounds (79 kg). Learn the game before you spout off nonsense!
