If you idiots believe that promoters will never work with each other especially with (non champs) then you do not follow boxing. Happens every weekend.Where do you think they get their opponents from? The idea of controlling champions and belts is a whole different topic. Some promoters are more difficult to work with than others. Happens in every business.Some of you guys need to stop reading sound bites and learn the game!

No I don't know what a promotional contract is,lol. How long have you been following boxing and how old are you? Sounds like a guy in his early 20's who thinks he knows it all. Have you read the Hunter/Matchroom agreement? Of course not! Your info is from some boxing website on the internet? The main reason this fight won't happen is because Fury wants a softer touch. Obviously Hunter is signed to fight on DAZN but if Hearn thought the deal was worth it he would no doubt allow one of his guys to fight on another platform. The deal would have to be right and he would have to be fairly confident of a victory. Why would a promoter do it? Because cutting off your nose to spite your face is never a good look!

This discussion turned in to the typical internet nonsense where couch potato " know it all's" spout B.S that they have "read". My original point was that Hunter was one of the best available guys at the moment. I also realize that he will not be offered the fight. Doesn't make sense for Fury to take any real risks with a Wilder rematch on the horizon. Some of us on these forums actually know people in the business! We also attend many fights. No need to constantly name drop but my uncle managed Wilfred Benitez. Look him up redeemer and juggernaut. Probably way before your time!

My goal is to have intelligent conversation about boxing with people who know the game. Most if not all of your info is from the internet. Nothing wrong with that but some of us actually know people in the business. It's not as complicated as some of you are led to believe to have fighters from different companies have their guys fight each other. The promotional contracts are set up for protection, not necessarily total control. Believe me I have no obsession with Hunter nor do I know exactly what his contract stipulates. Apparently you do! Many contracts with seasoned fighters have clauses and stipulations. Many younger guys have no choice and sign away a few years of their life. It's obviously very difficult to promote yourself, especially as a no namer! You two "experts" obviously know it all so no need to learn anything new on your end!
