I have to wonder if Oscar really wants to give up Munguia this soon. Or perhaps he will have to be the sacrificial lamb that buys Canelo more time until May 2020 to fight a more compelling opponent. I don't see him fighting GGG, Callum or Andrade in September. Not sure what's going on with Kovalev and whether or not they beefed up the offer. I think I have to go with "I don't F#cking know at this point".

The Mexican will be fighting somebody who don't call him names. (Saul is a sensitive guy)

JerMall Charlo. He is the most vulnerable out of Mundo, Derev, Billy Joe Saunders, Andrade, Gennady, Kovalev etc !

canelo could do something great, a W vs callum would put him right up there.
imo smart money would be on callum smith at super middleweight

canelo already has the WBA "Super" world in middleweight and also has the WBA "regular" world at super middleweight

I voted I don't know. I don't think he would dare fight GGG anyplace else but Vegas and GGG refuses to fight in Vegas and who could blame him. GGG just wants an even playing field.

I am sure he will not fight Smith. He could have fought Smith instead of Fielding since Smith had KOed Fielding in 2 rounds and was the real 168 pound champion. I watched some film of Smith's past fights and he looks like a monster to me. He very tall with a long reach. He has speed, power with both hands to head and body and good combinations. I think he would beat Canelo. I think Smith beats everyone at 168.

I am sure team Canelo knew all about both Smith and Fielding and they chose to fight Fielding instead of Smith who had KOed Fielding in two rounds. I don't think Canelo wants to fight Smith or he would have fought Smith instead of Fielding to the real champ at 168. Smith is in his prime and harder to beat than Kovalev Team Canelo have made no offers to fight Smith and they are not going to. I am sure Smith would beat Canelo. Maybe Bivol could drop to 168 and have a chance to beat Smith but he is the only one I have seen that might beat Smith. Anybody who has not seen Smith fight should watch film on him.
