As bad as the jmm situation of bloating jmm 2 divisions was. I can kind of understand that as Floyd was coming off lay off and jmm did well against Pac so had pedigree. It was always going to be kind of a go down the road as a good comeback fight and test for floyd rather than go down as a great win.
But I would say cw against Nell was horrific. This was a establish legacy kind of fight chance and Floyd bottles it. It's not as if nel o was established name. He came along suddenly and fasttracked into a Floyd fight. What was Floyd scared of? Nel o had not stopped or beaten anyone of note. Nel o was fast tracked some experience fights to kind of become a credible opponent for floyd with wins over ssm and trout who himself only had 1 good win.
Floyd knew he was criticised for jmm fight but still couldn't help himself with nel o cw.
