He would fight Charlo if Jermall was signed to DAZN or if Haymon believed that his fighter could win belts like when he let Ruiz cross the street. JerMall is a statue with no good defense that wouldn't force a Canelo who is still nursing bad knee injuries to chase him around the ring like Mundo, Andrade, BJS and even Derev would. Mall is my 3rd favorite boxer after Canelo + Spence yet Canelo would beat him either by knockout or a 12 round UD schooling.

Anyone else find it strange that team Canelo always leave it this late to announce a fight? Its now just 2 months to his normal date in September. Why the delay? They know exactly who they are going to fight.

I find it su****ious. As Breadman says, there's always a question mark over A side fighters who leave it until the last moment to officially announce a fight and only then start testing.

Im pretty sure there were reasons why he didnt fight Charlo or Andrade at 154 as well. But when he cant fight any young guys except Liam Smith and Rocky Fielding theres a con going on. They aint talking Andrade, Callum Smith, Saunders, Charlo, Bivol or anyone like that. They're talking old Kovalev dead from catchweight. Golovkin, even older and slower than before.
