    Why do you think that?

Whyte is a lot better than Schwartz, of course, but no better known in the US, and his best wins were all over guys no better known in the US than him.

Bob Arum: "Tyson's next opponent will be Dillian Whyte, who beat Joe Parker and Derick Chisora, and gave Anthony Joshua a tough fight before losing in the 7th round."

US casual fan: "Never heard of him or the guys he beat, but he got KO'd by that big stiff who just got KTFO by the fat Mexican guy. Mmmm ....I'll pass on this one.

That's the problem, right there. In the US, boxing fans are like Giant Pandas and Siberian Tigers. They do exist, but in small numbers, spread over a huge area.

Whyte would need a big fight over here bf he got a foot in the door to get noticed. Either Fury or Wilder is the only way besides AJ to get anyones attention. DAZN is doing a great job though and getting the boxing content out there as is ESPN but not enough high stakes fights .

Wilder is the champion yet needs AJ or Fury to generate true interest , that should tell you something.

Agreed. Of course boxing fans know who Whyte is! The idiots that believe otherwise are just that, idiots! As for Schwarz? Were any of his previous fights even televised? No comparison.

Fury deserves to be at 5 for the parade of bums he has fought.

Ruiz is still an unknown quantity for me. Need to see him fight someone in the top 5 - other than Joshua.

BTW is anyone looking forward to see if Ruiz lets Joshua hold his belts before their rematch? I know I am.
I understand that Whyte has his option and has to believe in himself but it's funny seeing him above Fury. Fury did get a draw against Wilder in the last 8 months. I know his come back fight 2 before and 1 after were bad but the wilder draw should put him above Whyte.

Weird sport as Whyte could turn around a say well I beat Parker who beat Ruiz so I should be 1.

I remember watching Ruiz fight in China on the the Pac undercard and thinking that he didn't throw enough. Against Parker the same. So thought AJ would walk through him. How wrong I was
