a champion should get chance back at his titles, but since those two fought canelo also picked up another title, ggg needs to do the same...
    So who’s more deserving?

GGG a former Champion with 20 defences, with wins over Jacobs, Lemieux, Murray etc. Who only lost the title in a fight many considered controversial.

Or Andrade who won a vacant belt at 160 and who’s best wins are Martirosyan and Sulecki.

    It’s a no contest...

I could see this...it only benefits canelo to age ggg a little more. regardless of what people say about canelo putting it on ggg in the 2nd fight, it was a tough fight for canelo and he was getting beat up in later in the fight.

ggg already had 2 shots at canelo cuz he was more deserving, is time for andrade now imho... i think ggg is the better fighter and beats andrade if they fight, but style wise andrade will be more difficult for canelo...

Canelo is clearly a far bigger draw but both would earn more money fighting each other as opposed to somebody else.
Andrade has a belt. Triple g don't so how is he more deserving a Canelo fight than Andrade???
And Canelo has money so he don't need Triple g.

            That’s fair enough. I don’t mind the Canelo-Andrade fight I’d just prefer to see Canelo-GGG 3.

Belts are essentially irrelevant, they’re just a marketing tool. It’s about the best vs the best and at 160 that’s Canelo vs GGG. That’s like saying GGG should’ve fought BJS instead of Canelo in 2017 cause Canelo didn’t have a belt.

Canelo could vacate every belt he has and he’d still be recognised as the #1 in the division and true lineal champion.

I just don’t understand why team Canelo are negotiating every other option apart from GGG. Over the past few days there have been reports of offers to or negotiations with Kovalev, Munguia and now Andrade. Whilst there’s been little attempt to re-negotiate with GGG after original negotiations reportedly soured over venue options. Canelo-GGG III is the biggest fight for either. It’s what GGG wants, it’s seemingly what John Skipper and DAZN want, but Team Canelo seem intent on alternative options. Why?

Golovkin is a poor sportsman, a diva... and Canelo does not like him

don't underestimate the " Canelo does not like him " part

when Canelo was desperate for that fight, to redeem himself following the positive VADA results..... Golovkin angled him for an undeserved 45%..... NOW, Golovkin wants the fight moved from vegas

G fcuked himself, here is why

FACT: it is clearly obvious to every adult human-being on the planet, that Golovkin will not take any kind of risk before he banks another Canelo payday..... so, Team Canelo have got Golovkin exactly where they want him

by deferring the fight, Golovkin will become more and more desperate..... if Team Canelo delay that fight for another year, what 2 opponents will Golovkin select in the meantime?..... Andrade and Charlo?, or Steve Rolls little sister and Vanes 12yo cousin?

they will not be paying Golovkin 45% next time, or anything even close..... because he is desperate and has nothing to bring to the table, having refused championship fights with Andrade and Charlo

Canelo knows that he beat Golovkin in the rematch, despite what anyone else says..... and Canelo told Golovkin to win a title if he wants a trilogy fight..... so I do not think that fight is anywhere near as important to Canelo, as it is important to Golovkin.....

so, IF they fight again..... Canelo will not be giving any handouts, and he will want to finish this once and for all..... so waiting for Gennady's legs to grow a year older and waiting for his stock to fall following what will almost certainly be underwhelming opponent selection..... probably appears to be their best option

Golovkin could have fought Charlo or Andrade, both of those fights would land him a rerun with Canelo..... but they said those fights made "no sense"..... which is insane

Andrade is willing to fight anyone, Golovkin is not

Golovkin is not the best middleweight on the planet, Canelo is

most of the top 6-7 would be very good opponents, but Golovkin is not willing to fight them..... it is clearly obvious that he does not intend to take any kind of risk before facing Canelo, and will most likely retire immediately following the trilogy fight

boxing is all about divisional supremacy..... so if Golovkin is not willing to participate in divisional supremacy, so is therefore largely irrelevant to the middleweight division..... then the WBO champ Andrade is definitely more deserving, no question

Golovkin vs Alvarez I GGG was Champ and Canelo was challenger.
Golovkin vs Alvarez II GGG still Champ and Alvarez still challenger.
It's a fact to say Golovkin gave Alvarez two shots art his titles.

this will be the bottom line in this thread.....

fcuk Golovkin, he could have fought Charlo or Andrade, both of those fights would land him a rerun with Canelo.....

but they said those fights made " no sense "..... which is insane

in the ring, Golovkin could have attempted to take the decision out of the judges hands by FIGHTING Canelo, like his trainer implored..... but, he CHOSE not to..... so, hard luck for him

out of the ring, Golovkin could have positioned himself for a trilogy fight, but he CHOSE not to..... so again, hard luck for him

he could have taken control of his own destiny, and career..... but Timidkin would not take the fights he needed to take..... not now, and not ever.....

..... poor (timid) decision-making is the hallmark of Gennady's career, this is just the latest chapter
