Yeah but look at it this way wouldn’t you rather Canelo intercept this fight from Golovkin who would surely show no mercy to Munguia and KHTFO? I would much rather Canelo give the schooling of his life then for Golovkin to end his career

Well the only good thing is it would take away the easy fight from GGG.

GGG would then be left with Charlo/Andrade and would be cornered into facing one of them or else looking really really bad fighting another nobody.

The guy has been going life and death lately. Better to have him lose to Canelo and lower the comp as he “rebuilds” than keep matching him in fights that turn out to be harder on him than they anticipated. Barely scraping by and MW punches and size wont be as forgiving.

At his age itll be billed as he wasnt ready and losing to an arguable p4p#1 guy is generally understandable. Throw him in with no hopers for another two years and hope he improves.

I'm a huge Canelo fan, but I'll be first in line to say Canelo vs Munguia is absolute GARBAGE. Let's hope it does NOT happen.

I do not want to see this fight. It sucks, it's not above the other more interesting bouts available and should be plan E if all the other fights fall through. We are running out of time to book a fight for September so I'm hoping they don't just fight this kid. We need to push back against this fight from happening.
