Let's be clear Munguia has no business in there with Canelo or GGG he will be slaughtered and hurt bad. He's strong and hits hard but his defense is terrible and he gets hit too often. He's coming off 2 shaky performances. Jumping up to 160 isn't a bad idea but fighting either out the gate could ruin his career.

Hopefully this is like past fights where they make a offer to the real opponent and he doesn't want to sign trying to squeeze more money so what does Oscar do makes a offer to lesser guy to put pressure it gets out to the media to get the real fight done. He's done this in the past throwing Lemieux's name out there, did it with Jacobs too. I think Kovalev is the real fight they want and Munguia is the bait to tell them if you price yourself out someone else can get that fight.

GGG thought he would be fighting Canelo in 3 months so he took an easy fight just as any other boxer would do. GGG was not a champion while Jermall was a champion defending his title. Do you understand the difference? How is Adams a better opponent than Rolls when Rolls was 19 and 0 and Adams had a few loses? Rolls was ranked 81st by boxrec but he was also ranked 8th in the world by the IBF and 15th by the WBC so he wasn't that terrible. I think he would beat Adams. You aren't laughing your ass off. He is huge and weighs 176 on fight night and that's about 5 pounds more than GGG and Canelo weigh on fight night. Also he beat Smith who Canelo beat a while back.
