Tactics. GB also made an offer to Jacobs when GGG was holding out during the negotiations for the second fight. If it does end up happening it would be a shame, Munguia has potential down the line but needs improvement

This could be a diversion, but I wouldn't mind this fight. Although, I'd rather see Canelo vs one of the MW or SMW belt holders. His interest in LHW though is just a bad road to take IMO.

Fight a 160 guy. This 175 bs & this 154 guy moving up bs is exactly that bs.

The best 3 options for Canelo to fight next are at 160 (GGG, Mall & Andrade). 175 is a cherry picking of a title off of a name guy whos post prime. And I'd be surprised if Canelo had any desire to fight someone like the Nail or better yet Beterbiev which would both be more meaningful W's.
