He could just fight some bum and pocket more money like little G is doing, is that what people want instead?
LMAO... You're making so many excuses. Canelo should fight GGG, Andrade or Charlo on September 14th. Real MW fighters. Give us fans the fights we want to see.

-BoxingScene.com has confirmed that it’s less than half of the low-eight figure guarantee Alvarez’s previous opponent, Daniel Jacobs, made for their middleweight title unification match May 4 in Las Vegas.....

This is ******, you're saying Jacobs made a "low" guarantee? Jacobs made 15 million for that fight, more than he's ever made in his whole career , how is this a low 8 figure payday smh

I think he's better now than he was when he fought Ward. A few years older, but training and dieting way better, at least his last fight.

Neither version is as physically strong, fast, powerful, and endowed with good stamina, as prime Kovalev. It's a very common misconception that Ward was the start of the end of Kovalev's prime, but if you go back and watch the Chilemba fight in Russia before the first Ward fight, he was already a 4 round fighter at that point with the drinking and training problems and so on. Maybe earlier, but he just wasnt old enough yet in years for it to take its toll, although he gassed semi-badly in the first Pascal fight before training better for the rematch and then really falling off after that.

If this fight gets made I’m rolling with cinnamon. Kovalev isn’t what he was 3 years ago. And canelo is a good body puncher.

Dazn is their boss and they'll do what dazn wants.
            Okay you said it!
So I don't wanna hear you say Canelo is ducking Charlo or Andrade again.
He can't fight them cause Canelo's boss won't approve those fights so that's why he's not even considering them two guys.
            Remember you said that..

Massive props to Canelo if he fights Kovalev at 175

If it’s a catchweight, not interested

Then after he proves that, Vasyl Lomachenko should go to 147 to fight Erik Morales (today's Erik Morales, so we're clear), Chavez Sr (today's Chavez Sr), Barrera, and Juan Manuel Marquez to prove that all the Mexican legends under 160 pounds were actually hypejobs too.

See how dumb that is lol? You don't prove **** fighting guys in their mid-thirties or later. Prime GGG and prime Kovalev both would have dominated Canelo and dropped him multiple times if not stopped him. Just because it probably won't happen now doesn't prove anything.

Jacobs only made more vs GGG, a cash cow.

Kovalev's career high payday was in a big fight 4 years ago. He might be more known today than back then, but certainly the boxing market has risen since then. So even if Kovalev is worth the same as back then, it should be a lot more because everyone's salaries have gone up.

He should definitely get what Jacobs would get. Canelo-Kovalev is a bigger fight than Canelo-Jacobs. Seeing as Canelo is still Canelo, that must mean Kovalev is worth more than Jacobs.

Canelo I see you trying to be the first Mexican 175 champion but you're gonna have to pay kovalev enough money to do it, don't low ball him like you did golovkin rematch , where Oscar had to pay out of his own pocket,

Kovalev should try to make the fight, I would if I were him. He is nearing retirement. Sure try to get as much as you can but where else is Kov going to get $6 million from? That is nice retirement money.
