lol That's even worse than Commey vs Beltran. Can't see Sho staying in boxing post-2019.

LMAO

Did I mention that Boxingscene is OWNED by CBS and CBS is financially invested in PBC oh now I see why we have different standards and spin to inflate numbers
Yup. I noticed that too. btw, Keith is just a corporate puppet.

Fans need to stop supporting these shiiity mismatch fights! As fans, we must not let TopRank, PBC, GoldenBoy, Matchroom, Showtime, ESPN, DAZN, etc. divide us! The more divided we are, it lets them get away with mismatches they have been feeding us! Fighters think if they call out certain fighters in their post fight interview it lets them off the hook! Most of these fighters don't want to fight other top guys to begin with because it will expose who they really are!

Sucks for showtime stuck wt mediocre talent.
The point is that Showtime is available in fewer homes than ESPN.

Yet the Showtime fight got almost the same number of viewers as the ESPN fight.

            It is what it is.

There should be a Boxing Fans Union.

Where a bunch of us band together to present a united front, with a list of fights we'd like to see. If we don't get any of them then maybe we start calling for boycotts of certain events.

Ultimately we are the paying customer. If our needs aren't met then we should wield the power of our wallets. But that only works if enough of us unite and pull in the same direction.

It's not just PBC! Fury vs. Schwarz was a Top Rank event! If the fight is weak, promoter makes no difference! PBC gave us Wilder vs. Fury and Hurd vs. Williams! Top Rank gave us Loma vs. Linares, and Kovalev vs. Alvarez! I just think viewers know when the fight is trash, and the numbers reflect!

Not they didn't. ol This is why it's bias and BS reporting that Keith Idec and boxingscene are doing. They reported that the ENTIRE ESPN card avg 490K viewers yesteday when they wrote about that card's TV ratings. that's the avg not for the main event and not even the peak for the main event. That's the number for the entire 2h+ broadcast on ESPN. Meanwhile they report only the peak for 1 of the 3 fights during a full 3hr Broadcast on Showtime. The avg for JUST the main event on Showtime was 379K. The avg for the 2hr block including the Main event and Co-Main was ONLY about 300K viewers.

But the lowest rating block that make the list was 226K viewers. that means the first hour did WORST then that. The entire 3HR block averaged somewhere in the mid 200K viewers.

So the real comparison mid 200K vs 497K viewers for ESPN. Now does that seem almost the same? But when you play games with the article titles and pick and choose what numbers to report to inflate the numbers and what numbers to refuse to report that's how you mislead people into thinking oh both cards did basically the same because I see the peak 434K number in the title and that is almost the same as their article saying ESPN did 497K in that title. For all we know the ESPN card could of peaked at 600-800K viewers boxingscene refused to report the ESPN card's peak rating.

I was watching the Mexico game but my friend put it on the tablet so I saw bits of it and still have it on my dvr. It was a lackluster fight but it is what it is I know Charlo is not ducking anyone he wants to make the big fights but no one has given him the opportunity although he should've knocked Adams out and I though he lost to Korobov.
