GGG has no belts and there are 2 middleweights he can fight to grab one. WBC mandated him to fight Charlo. He was already number 1 ranked by WBO and entitled to a mandatory but turned that down to fight trash bag Rolls. Andrade is even on DAZN so there is no politics preventing him getting that fight next. And WBC already said Charlo has to fight you next as long as you step and say you want it. Won't move up has never moved up to 168 and is ducking anyone at 160. LMAO

Im a GGG fan but man, this fight is BS. Why fight Munguia whrn you can fight an actual MW or SMW.
Andrade, jacobs(at168), any 168 champ.
Deryvechenko, Korobov, Jermall. Pick one, and fight, he will win any of those, why waste your time left in the sport with Munguia.

I only see this as a Bussiness move, and be prepared because I dont see any "dare to be great" moves from GGG from now on

Canelo having knee issues is sad...but unfortunately not surprising...had that one surgery before GGG 2...and to me that wrap on his knee looked bad in the Jacobs fight.

If Canelo isn't fighting in September...GGG-Mungia just makes too much sense from a promotional standpoint...the matchup is all right for GGG imo...similar to Breazeale-Wilder where on paper it looks OK...but style wise it is all in favor of the better guy, and I don't see this one lasting too long...I would be tuning in though :0 lol.

DAZN has so much riding on the Canelo-GGG fight...they probably want that fight another 3 times honestly...not just for the money it can bring in, but also the subs...I'm wondering if Canelo is sitting out because he is having issues with DAZN trying to force that fight, or if the knee is really bothering him...I'm leaning towards the former but idk...may be some of both...he doesn't seem like the type of guy who wants people to tell him what to do...and you know DAZN has been pushing him and his team for that fight.

So if no Canelo-GGG I can see this one making way too much sense for September...so much for DAZN rides on Canelo-GGG 3 (and 4 and 5...) so any moves they want those fighters to make will be to maximize that fight...and obviously limiting downside.

I would prefer Andrade at 160 or Callum Smith at 168 but this one probably sells better than those unfortunately. Honestly I am glad GGG is getting paid now at the end of his career...he has earned it and I think no matter what some people will never give him any credit for the great things he has done in his career...so may as well get paid before you call it a day.

Just come out and say, that you don’t care If canelo swerves him because you feel like something is being taken away from ggg.
