Great choice!!I have always said Johnson revolutionized defense he was the 1st(heavy anyways)to use his hands to parry blows.Corbett gets too much credit he still fought in that old bare knuckle stance.I think Joe Louis revolutionized offence he was the 1st to be able to keep his balance and throw multiple hard punches in combo. Their is some little guys who prob did it 1st like joe Gans(defense), but they had little press and they're impact suffered because of it.

It really depends on what aspect of boxing. If you’re talking boxing technique, then a lot of those early guys obviously build the foundations and made the biggest leaps forward to revolutionise how people fight.

If you’re talking about the business, then obviously guys like Floyd revolutionised business models. Although maybe revolutionised is the wrong word. He’s certainly had a huge impact on boxing since he was the biggest name. Fighters wanting to stay undefeated at all costs, promote themselves etc. Etc. I don’t even blame him though, he actually fought very good fighters on the way up to put himself in that position. Young fighters now want the image he had and the record, but they will avoid tough fights.

Ray Leonard was first complete boxing package = sweet science

People can say Oscar de Hoya with ppvs, boxer-promoter

Thread can go on forever. This boxer invented this that blah blah blah

Goes back to ray Robinson then

Sorry, Ali with closed circuit showing.

Sugar Ray Leonard was making millions way before Hamed.

At 126, Wilfredo Gomez and Sal Sanchez made that division relevant.
At 130-135 , Camacho and JCC Sr.

Ali made $60M in total before 1982.

Ok, you just want to go to 126?
MAB and Morales made it more significant than Hamed did .

Sal and Bazooka before that .
