Efe Ajagba — what’s his potential?

So far I like what I see of him. He still needs a few more fights before he is ready for any of the big four, but I think if he polishes up a little he can be the new boogeyman of the HW division. Thoughts?

Always hard to say with HW prospects vs top ten & better guys cuz being able to take a punch is more important at HW then any other division & if he can't take one he gets real regular & real beatable real fast.

Looks promising up til now doe. If he was a stock I'd be owning some shares in Efe 100%.

HUGE potential. He's still learning how to set up punches and land with precision. But even in his very raw form, he's ragdolling ring veterans like Amir Mansour who was completely overwhelmed by his power.

In sparring, Efe has held his own against some big names in the heavyweight division. His handlers seem to have high confidence in him. They're promoting him early, putting him on big cards, fast-tracking him against opponents like Ali Eren Demirezen who's an undefeated puncher with a good amateur pedigree.

If he continues to improve, he'll be challenging for a world title in two years.

I like him, definitely someone to keep an eye on. Really a must watch kind of undercard guy right now and he could make a quick rise once people start to remember his name, maybe 1 more year or so.

Defensively, I'm still wondering about his reflex...how is he reacting to feints and/or incoming punches - does it seem like he sees them or "feels" them, etc....and I don't think that looks as good.

His defence is a little bit leaky. But he still young tho.

Him, Hrgovic, Yoka, Teslenko, Dubois. The future of the division looks very bright.

If Manny Steward was still alive, he could do wonders for the guy.

The LDBC claim he has faked his age, somewhere in his 30s already. Therefore, if it’s true, not great imo

I like him and I see him as a good prospect but only if he improves his boxing skills. Currently, I rate him as follows
+ Good height and good reach
                  + Solidly build
                  + Good athletic body
+ Good power and should be able to take a punch
                  + Decent variety of shots

                  - Lack of experience
                  - Needs to improve his boxing skills, shot angles, head movement
                  - Needs to add to his ring IQ..how to behave to situations in the ring, when/how to change strategy mid-round, etc.

Overall, a more natural and powerful boxer than Dubois, Joyce, or Hrgovic but less in skills and experience.

He's good, sort of stiff, would get destroyed by the likes of Fury/Wilder
