In this era of 4 (sometimes more) sanctioned champions per weight division, it is more and more less common to crown an Undisputed World Champion. So many things need to go right for a boxer to achieve this pinnacle. In the last 20 years, it's happened maybe 8 times.

This fight is interesting, if only for the fact that if Lomachenko gets past Campbell, he will then be one step away from unifying all the belts.
Had Mikey Garcia remained at Lightweight and defended his WBC title, this would obviously be a much bigger fight. Did Mikey outgrow the division ? Why did he jump up 2 weight divisions ? Did he purposely avoid Lomachenko ? These are questions only Garcia himself can answer.

Loma appears to be playing the hand that was dealt him. If he gets by Campbell, and many think he will, Richard Commey looks like his next obvious target. Commey looked good against Beltran. If he ends up facing Teofimo, and dominates like he did Beltran, maybe Loma/Commey will be a fight worth waiting for.
Unfortunately, there is no Mikey Garcia in the LW division any longer. He appears on his way to another fight at WW. Will Gervonta Davis move up to 135 and challenge Lomachenko soon ? That's another exciting possibility. Until then, the road to Undisputed goes through Campbell then Commey, for the time being.

Lomachenko in London, Yes Please. Hopefully Usyk get's on the card as well. I know that's unlikely but we can all dream.

This fight just doesn't get me excited. Campbell is good but he stands no chance. Loma will outclass him, ko him within 10. The lightweight division ain't competitive for Loma anymore. I want him to go to 140. He can definitely beat a champion or 2 at the weight.

Campbell can't win but he is capable of giving a good account of himself

Campbell is gonna shock the world but it shouldn’t be a shock, he’s much bigger than Lomachenko. Campbell by KO.
