  • Comments Thread For: Hearn Explains Recent Online Exchange With De La Hoya

PROVIDENCE, R.I.-Eddie Hearn couldn't help but laugh once he saw that he'd become the target of Oscar de la Hoya's latest Twitter rant. The two are the main content providers on sports ******ing platform DAZN, with Hearn's Matchroom Boxing helping launch the service in the America market last September. Soon thereafter, de la Hoya brought the entire Golden Boy stable over, including his biggest star, reigning World middleweight champion Saul Canelo' Alvarez, who remains without an opponent for his next fight which is planned for September 14.

Very diplomatic! Keep that Callum Smith fight alive! Keep that Andrade fight alive! Think about Devin Haney vs. Ryan Garcia! That's going to be massive! DAZN needs all hands on deck! Can't afford domestic violence!

Hearn should be diplomatic. Boxing on DAZN would be down the shitter without Golden Boy and Canelo.

Which card last night got more boxing fans talking? Matchroom's or PBC's?

Matchroom has put on the far more competitive cards this year. Stop being so biased against Matchroom.

                  They were both lackluster cards.

If shows like that and Golovkin vs Rolls were all DAZN had going for it no one would subscribe.

PBC cards have been far worse this year, but yet you want to insult Matchroom's.
